Description:
To engage and empower youth in policy development on issues of environment and sustainability.

Our objectives are:
-To define the Canadian Youth Environmental Networks policy goals;
-To increase youth interest and involvement in policy concerning issues of environment and sustainability;
-To promote the YEN as a venue for government to outreach to youth and provide a fair, democratic selection process for government consultation;
-To coordinate the development of a National Strategy and venue to engage youth Environmental non-governmental organizations in legislation, policies and programs affecting the environment
