TakingITGlobal seeks a motivated, creative and outgoing young person for the volunteer internship position of “Country” Community Connector. If you're interested in youth engagement in the online environment, gaining experience in online media and working in a high-energy community, this could be your ideal placement.

The Community Connector Volunteer Internship Position is part of a 6-month engagement project developed by TakingITGlobal with the aim of providing our members with more opportunities for personal and professional development.

The Community Connector Internship is a six-month position, starting in mid-August 2008 and ending in mid-February 2009 for a weekly rate of 5-8 working hours. It is an unpaid Internship, but will afford the opportunity to gain valuable experience working within an international NGO, using Web 2.0 tools to engage youth, and making connections with local groups and organizations.
