Name: Civicus Assembly, 2007 E-Consultation
Description:
This E-consultation to set to actively involve youth people and other interested in the process and to express their opinion for the the CIVICUS Youth Assembly which will take place on Tuesday 22 May 2007 until Saturday 27 May 2007 at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC), Glasgow.

During the month of May the CIVICUS Youth Assembly will offer a unique opportunity to meet and work with other young women and men who are really making changes to things that matter. It will also give young people a program and a space to develop and commit to action internationally.
Youth Assembly delegates will also go on to attend, as full delegates, the CIVICUS World Assembly where they will have a voice and opportunity to meet and influence some of the world's leading NGOs, groups and individuals who are committed to the creation of a more just and equitable world.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to meet a number of Young Scots who are involved nationwide in social justice programmes. These opportunities will help build global linkages and offer delegates and young Scots opportunities to understand issues from a global perspective
The theme of the Assembly is ‘Accountability to Future Generations’,
Recent interest in accountability of corporations, government, intergovernmental bodies and NGOs has been due to people high expectation of integrity in people working on issues that are of public benefit.
In our world today there are a lot of nice initiatives for development of underdeveloped and developing nations. Technology is fast advancing but even in the wake of all these opportunities there exist a lot of problems for the majority of the world’s population and the generations to come. So please take a moment to answer these questions for your chance to get your voice heard at the international level!

The E-consultation will take place over 3 weeks from 6th May until 27th May, 2007.
