Hello and welcome to the Mexico City YouthForce e-group! This group will keep you up to date about preparations for the XVII International AIDS Conference taking place August 3-8, 2008, in Mexico City.
The Mexico City YouthForce is a consortium of youth-led and youthserving organisations, working to ensure the meaningful
participation of young leaders at the Conference. Building upon the success of the Youth Force at the Barcelona, Bangkok and Toronto International AIDS Conferences, the YouthForce will coordinate a Youth Pre-Conference, vibrant Youth Pavilion area, coordinated advocacy and media strategy, Youth-Adult Mentorship Initiative and Commitments Desk, and more. The Mexico City YouthForce is currently coordinated by Ave de Mexico, Advocates for Youth, Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS, International Planned Parenthood Federation, TakingITGlobal, UNFPA, the World AIDS Campaign, and the Youth Coalition. You are invited to contribute to the planning process as well!
The Youth Working group members and a Youth Coordinator will be selected by AIDS2008 Committee Members in October 2007. A Youth Website will be launched in early 2008 with detailed information about the youth program. ¡Hola y bienvenidos al foro electrónico de la FuerzaJoven Ciudad de México! Este grupo te mantendrá informado sobre los preparativos para la XVII Conferencia Internacional sobre SIDA tomando lugar el 3 al 8 de agosto del 2008 en la Ciudad de México.
La FuerzaJoven Ciudad de México es un consorcio de organizaciones encabezadas por jóvenes y organizaciones que sirven a los jóvenes, trabajando para asegurar la participación significativa de líderes jóvenes en la conferencia. Construyendo sobre los éxitos de FuerzaJoven en las Conferencias Internacionales sobre Sida de Barcelona, Bangkok y Toronto, la FuerzaJoven coordinara una Pre-Conferencia Juvenil, un vibrante pabellón juvenil, una recepción juvenil, abogacía coordinada y una campaña de medios de comunicación, una Iniciativa de Tutelaje Jóvenes-Adultos y Mesa de Compromisos, y más. La FuerzaJoven Ciudad de México actualmente es coordinada por Ave de México, Advocates for Youth, Global Youth Coalition sobre SIDA/VIH, La Federación Internacional de Planificación de la Familia (International Planed Parenthood Federation), TakingITGlobal, UNFPA, World Aids Campaign, y Youth Coalition. ¡Tú también estas invitado ha contribuir al proceso de planeación!
Los miembros del grupo de Trabajo Juvenil y un Coordinador Juvenil serán seleccionados por los Miembros del Comité de SIDA2008 en Octubre del 2007. Una página web Juvenil será inaugurada a principios del 2008 con información detallada sobre el programa juvenil. Ce groupe vous tiendra au courant des préparatifs de la XVII Conférence internationale sur le SIDA qui se tient du 3 au 8 août 2008 à Mexico.
La YouthForce de Mexico est un consortium dirigé par des jeunes et des organisations aux services des jeunes qui travaillent pour assurer une participation significative des jeunes leaders à la Conférence. S'inspirant du succès de la Youth Force aux conférences internationales du SIDA de
Barcelone, de Bangkok et de Toronto, la YouthForce coordonnera une Pré-conférence de la Jeunesse, un dynamique Pavillon de la Jeunesse, les
activités de plaidoyer et la stratégie des médias, l'initiative de mentorat
des Jeunes Adultes, la Table des Engagements et plus encore. La YouthForce de Mexico est actuellement composée de Ave Mexico, Advocates for Youth,
