YES-Kenya is a countrywide Summit of young professionals and youth organizations involved in promoting youth employment in Kenya. YES-Kenya Network is part of a growing Global Alliance to counter the various forms of unemployment amongst the youth through concerted and sustained action.
YES-Kenya aims to be the foremost youth network in the Kenya. The Network has been involved in a number of projects and initiatives including participation in the development of the National Youth Policy, Development of Road Map to Youth Employment in Kenya, Formulation of Employment Policy in Kenya, organisation of conferences and workshops to discuss the various facets of the unemployment problem in Kenya.
YES-Kenya has received recognition from the government through the Ministry of Labor and Human Resource Development as a key player in the quest to reduce unemployment. Towards this end YES-Kenya participates in a broad roundtable set-up by the Ministry to encourage cross-sectoral collaborative development of unemployed youth. It is this caucus that developed a ROAD MAP aimed at tackling the problem.
YES-Kenya Network has been a key partner in the process of developing Kenya
