Description:
International Student Conference on Aids is an ongoing HIV/AIDS problem-solving forum for students, professionals, politicians, leaders in government, public health, social and medical & life sciences. The HIV/AIDS pandemic is tied to ORPHANS, POVERTY, GENDER, EDUCATION, CLEAN WATER and ECONOMICS. The spread of the infection is rapid in AFRICA, ASIA and EASTERN EUROPE. HOW CAN IT BE STOPPED? YOU have answers. We're going to build an action plan with the survey results. Each of the 8 UN Millennium Development Goals will be analyzed over 8 weeks (October - December, 2004). Survey Purpose:
+ Create global youth awareness of the MDG's
+ Understand the connections of HIV/AIDS with Poverty, Education, Gender, and Economics
+ Inform policy makers of what YOUTH-THINK&KNOW about the MDG's
+ Document the problems and solutions associated with individual country achievements of the MDG's, especially Goal #6 Halt and reverse the spread of HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria by 2015.
ISCA United Nations United Millennium Development Goals e-consult/survey ANALYZES the connections. Your input is necessary to understanding the connection and creating solutions. BE HEARD. PARTICIPATE IN THE SURVEY FOR THE NEXT EIGHT WEEKS.
